Tan Teng Nging (MCC, ICF)

Hello! I am Teng Nging.

I am a trainer and mentor with HCC. Are you ready to dive into what it means to be human? A new world of surprises awaits you wiith your newfound coaching lens.

Having coached for over 20 years, I bring more than 3500 hours of coaching experience. I work with individuals and groups navigating complexity, uncertainty, power dynamics, and periods of transition—particularly when conventional approaches to leadership, performance, or therapy no longer suffice. My further specialization in Process-Oriented Psychology and Worldwork brings an advanced understanding of power, rank, communication, and group dynamics into organisational and leadership settings. I support clients in transforming tension, conflict, and ambiguity into clarity, alignment, and sustainable action.

As a Reiss Profile® Master, I enable individuals and teams to leverage motivational diversity as a source of complementary collaboration rather than friction.

Prior to coaching, I was a Research Fellow with the National University of Singapore’s Medical Faculty, spending close to a decade researching paediatric public health issues—these bring a strong foundation in research, systems thinking, and evidence-based inquiry to my current work.

See you in our upcoming module. Bring your curiosity and get ready to roll your sleeves up!

What Our Students Say

Teng Nging - My sensei, she who sees it all and delivered with measured feedback as she wants to also tailor it to what's unique as my personality but showing me more of what an MCC level coach behavior, more emptiness to give clients even more space for them to come into their own. Her analogy - kids say the darnest thing / energy dial / crisp sharp questioning.
"Move from PG13 to R21!" - said Teng Nging during a mentoring session. This has stuck with me and in an unexpected (but positive) way, this phrase has fuelled me to always seek deeper and more meaningful exploration and realisations in my coaching sessions.
Thankful to Teng Nging for being sharp and observant when reviewing the final assessment, and in giving me suggestions on how I can improve as a coach!
