Our Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

Human Centric Coaching Pte. Ltd. (“HCC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the personal data of every individual who interacts with us — whether as a prospective learner, programme participant, or visitor to our digital properties.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal data.

By submitting your information through any of our channels — including our website, landing pages, social media, or advertising platforms — you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

2. Data We Collect & How

We collect personal data through voluntary submission, automated technologies, and third-party advertising platforms. The categories of data we may collect include:

This policy applies to personal data collected across all of HCC’s lead generation and marketing channels, including but not limited to: our website and landing pages, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, WhatsApp, email campaigns, webinar and event registration forms, and referrals.

When you complete a lead form on a third-party advertising platform (e.g. a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form or Meta Instant Form), the data you submit is transferred to HCC in accordance with that platform’s terms and our data-sharing agreements with them. The same protections described in this policy apply to data received via these channels.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only for legitimate purposes connected to our educational and coaching services:

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in any email or contacting us directly. Opting out will not affect service-related messages if you are an enrolled participant.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data on the following bases:

  • Consent: where you have voluntarily submitted your data via a form, opted into communications, or agreed to our terms
  • Contractual necessity: where processing is required to fulfil a programme enrolment or service agreement with you
  • Legitimate interests: for improving our services, conducting analytics, and communicating programme information to individuals who have expressed interest
  • Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or disclose data under Singapore law or regulatory guidance

All third-party service providers are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our contractual instructions.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website and landing pages use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance functionality, analyse traffic, and support targeted advertising. These include:

  • Essential cookies: required for core website functions; cannot be disabled
  • Analytics cookies: used to understand how visitors interact with our pages
  • Advertising cookies: used to serve relevant ads and measure effectiveness across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn platforms
  • Functional cookies: used to remember your preferences and provide enhanced features

You may manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner. Disabling advertising cookies will not prevent you from seeing ads — it will make them less relevant to your interests.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law and regulatory obligations. The appropriate retention period is determined by the nature of the data, the purpose for which it was collected, and any legal or accreditation requirements that apply.

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised. Opt-out and unsubscribe records are retained to honour your preference.

9. Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Withdrawal: withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Portability: receive your data in a commonly used, machine-readable format
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 13. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe upon receiving your request.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include access controls, encryption in transit, and periodic security reviews of our platforms and processes.

In the event of a data breach likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals in accordance with mandatory breach notification obligations under the PDPA.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, or payment pages. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platforms you visit.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a notice on our website. Continued engagement with our channels following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
