Terence Eng (ACC)

Hi there! Coach T here.

I’m an executive coach, trainer and coaching manager with HCC. I believe that leadership transformation begins not with tools, but with awareness — the courage to pause, reflect and lead from a place of alignment.

I spent over 20 years in senior global and regional leadership roles across healthcare, FMCG, and industrial sectors. I led large cross-functional teams and transformation initiatives across Asia Pacific and global markets, carrying P&L responsibilities and navigating complex  organisational dynamics. My leadership journey exposed me to both the rewards and the quiet tensions of high achievement — the pressure to perform, the weight of decision-making, and the inner questions about identity, purpose and growth.

Coaching became the natural extension of that journey. Today, I partner with corporate leaders, founders, entrepreneurs and high achievers who are navigating complexity, stepping into larger roles, or seeking deeper alignment between who they are and how they lead.

As faculty, I am passionate about developing coaches in a way that is both rigorous and deeply personal. I bring structure and clarity to foundational concepts, while delivering them in an engaging and relatable manner. Even topics that may appear technical or fundamental — such as coaching competencies, ethics or frameworks — are brought to life through real-world examples, experiential practice and, occasionally, my quirky sense of humor. I believe learning deepens when participants feel both intellectually stimulated and personally connected.

In my role as Coaching Manager, I support coaching standards, mentor practitioners and hold space for reflection. At the same time, I ensure the flawless execution of coaching programs — from alignment of objectives to quality assurance and stakeholder management. I see this as stewardship — nurturing excellence while strengthening the integrity and impact of our coaching community.
